With pipes that don’t stop and a smart sense of what the crowd de jour wants, this latina soulstress delivers. Hilda’s no-nonsense attitude comes through in every song. Her live shows consist of the best blues, soul, and Latin and Conjunto. Hilda has been dubbed “The Queen of Latina Soul.”

Hilda was signed to Hacienda Records and released her debut album, “Latina Soul”, which contained covers and originals in both English and Spanish. Hilda’s rendition of Koko Taylor’s “Voodoo Woman” hit the #37 spot on the iTunes Blues Charts in Austria and her cover of the Etta James classic, “Damn Your Eyes” hit the #67 spot on the iTunes Blues Charts in Mexico.

“Love Me Alone”, Hilda’s sophomore album was released in March 2013. The album contains 13 original songs from songwriters around the world. The album topped the Roots Music Report Internet Blues Charts for 9 weeks and closed out 2013 at #1.

Hilda has performed for many dignitaries including Texas Governor Rick Perry and has opened for many national acts such as Marcia Ball, Los Lobos, and The Texas Tornados.

This Blues Princess is currently touring her home state of Texas and is currently working on various projects including her first all Conjunto release for CHR Records.
