Los Marceles

CHR Records proudly presents a group of talented musicians who call themselves “Los Marceles.” Led by brothers Marcial & Val Chapa, these brothers literally grew up in the music business. Their father Marcial Chapa Sr. was an accomplished musician who taught his sons all about music as well as the business of music.

The group is from the West Texas area and performs on a regular basis to enthusiastic fans. Their music consists of Puro Texas Conjunto. From rancheras to cumbias, boleros,and huapangos, you name it, if it’s Texas Conjunto, they can play it. They are a popular group at festivals and dance halls all over Texas. Los Marceles have shared the stage with such talents as Michael Salgado, Los Palominos and many others.
