From the heart of Laredo, Texas, comes the traditional Conjunto sound of Ricky Ruiz Y Los Escorpiones.
Performing for over thirty years, Ricky Ruiz began as a young drummer and before too long Ricky slowly took a more center stage position to being lead singer and bass player. His son, Ricky Ruiz Jr. now assumes the drum position once held by his father. Ruiz and his Conjunto are fan favorites at weddings, quiceanera’s and other special occasions. One can hear the music of Ricky Ruiz on an almost weekly
