From their origin in the late 70’s, Los Chukos de Zaz Y Zaz, under the guidance of accordionist Rene Rodriguez have continued to be one of the most entertaining groups in all of Conjunto music.
Their blend of pachuko phrases mixed with tradtional cumbia and ranchera beats make their music extremely exciting as the crowd never knows what to expect next.
“Los Chukos de Zaz Y Zaz” have recorded for many Texas based record labels since their inception. Living their dream, “Los Chukos de Zaz Y Zaz” continue to gain popularity and increase their performance territory with each passing year. Quite a fan favorite throuought the US and in Mexico, Los Chukos often perform to sell out crowds and audience participation often has members of the audience on stage dancing with the group.
Creating a sound from deep in the heart of the barrio, this group performs with all the intensity and emotion one would expect from the Latino Low-Rider culture.
